Lawton tri-level closes for bridge work

LAWTON, Okla._Continuing work on the Lawton tri-level will cause a temporary inconvenience overnight Wednesday and Thursday.

  • Eastbound Cache Road to westbound I-44 will be closed from 8:00 p.m. Wednesday until 6:00 a.m. Thursday.
  • Eastbound I-44 to westbound Cache Road will be closed from 8:00 p.m. Thursday until 6:00 a.m. Friday.
  • Northbound 2nd Street to westbound Cache Road will be closed from 8:00 p.m. Thursday until 6:00 a.m. Friday.

The closures are for bridge work. A signed detour will be in place and the Oklahoma Department of Transportation urges drivers to allow extra travel time.
