Car drives into McDonald's

LAWTON, Okla._McDonald's goers got a huge shock when a vehicle left the road and ran into the kids PlayPlace Sunday afternoon in Lawton.

Police were called out to the McDonald's near Northwest Cache Road and 38th Street just after 1:00 p.m. to find the driver of a Nissan Versa had driven the vehicle right into the front of the building. Witnesses say a case of road rage led to the vehicle going off the road and into the building. The driver of the car was taken into custody after undergoing a sobriety test. The police are still investigating and no arrests have been made at this time.

Two other passengers were taken to the hospital by ambulance with unknown injuries. One child was in the play area at the time of the crash, but was not injured.
