Traffic stop leads to drug bust

LAWTON, Okla._Two men are behind bars and facing numerous drug charges following a traffic stop Sunday.

The Comanche County Sheriff's Department said the two were pulled over for not having a tag on their car. A drug K9 sniffed out about two ounces of marijuana from the car, and they say additional information prompted police to get a search warrant for their residence where they seized another two pounds of marijuana, a hand gun, a small amount of meth and some pills. In all, officials say about $900 of drugs were taken as evidence.

Charges are expected to be filed this week for distribution, drug paraphernalia, possession of meth, and a firearm after a felony.
