Rudolph continues to work through adversity for No. 21 Oklahoma State

In their last two games, Oklahoma State has had to work until the closing seconds to get a victory. Against Texas, quarterback Mason Rudolph had one of the worst games of his young career. In response he threw for over 400 yards and 3 touchdowns in a win over Kansas State Saturday. Head Coach Mike Gundy says his young quarterback always had a positive mind set despite any adversity he may face on the field.

"His poise has been good from day one. And last week at Texas there were some times where he could have been flustered, but wasn't flustered. And today he was fine. And so...he's a work in progress, he's young, but he's getting some experience now and I think as he moves forward he will continue to get better. He's showing some toughness and some grit and some willingness to fight and win," said Mike Gundy, Oklahoma State Head Coach.

"It's something to look forward to as quarterback. Your entire career is having that chance to go down the stretch and be behind and come back and win. So, this offense did an awesome job of responding to adversity and, you know...kind of playing off the defense all day long,” said Mason Rudolph, Oklahoma State Sophomore Quarterback.

The Cowboys now begin preparing for next Saturdays trip to Morgantown to take on West Virginia.
