Final Day: Oktoberfest

Final Day: Oktoberfest

LAWTON, Okla._Oktoberfest was still in full-swing Saturday at the Great Plains Coliseum in Lawton.

The event rings in fall harvest by celebrating with live music, and authentic German foods, like bratwurst and sauerkraut, that were imported this week just for Oktoberfest. You can also get delicious desserts that will raise money for high school seniors heading off to college.

Ellen fisher says in addition to the good eats, there are also fun activities for the whole family.

"We have a kid's zone that all the kids are allowed to go and play in. We'll be teaching the chicken dances, which is my favorite, and the great polka line dance."

It costs $3 to get in, but kids 12 and under are free. Saturday's festivities will wrap up at 11 p.m.
