3-vehicle crash near Key Gate on I-44, no injuries reported

LAWTON, Okla._The Oklahoma Highway Patrol is investigating a crash involving three vehicles near Fort Sill’s Key Gate Friday morning.

The crash happened just after 8:00 a.m. Friday. Troopers say a driver in a white pickup truck entered the eastbound lanes of I-44, but because he didn't yield to the oncoming traffic, he hit another driver in a blue pickup truck traveling in the right lane. That driver was then pushed out of the way and hit a car in the left lane.

The driver of the blue truck lost a wheel and all three vehicles had body damage.

There were no injuries, but troopers say that particular area near Key Gate does not have the best visibility because of a "blind hill" and drivers are often speeding.
