Woman admits to shooting, tried to scare people away

LAWTON, Okla._The woman involved in a shooting incident last Friday has been charged.

Isabel Hunter, who has been convicted of drug possession and possession of a weapon after a felony conviction, was charged Tuesday with possession of a firearm. The charge comes after an incident on Friday, October 16, near Northwest 3rd Street and Euclid Avenue where witnesses say Hunter shot at their car as they drove away.

Hunter was questioned by police, and admitted she shot the gun in order to scare some people away from her house.

If convicted, Hunter faces up to 10 years in prison.
