Arrested: Man attacks bouncer at Duncan night club

DUNCAN, Okla._A Marlow man is in the Stephens County Jail, facing charges of assault with a deadly weapon.

According to court documents, Daniel Long pulled out a knife and tried to use it on a bouncer at Driller's Nightclub in Duncan on Saturday. The bouncer was trying to break up a fight between Long and other patrons of the club. Witnesses say the fight started after Long and his friend made inappropriate remarks about a man at the bar. Another man overheard and then threatened Long and his friend. They were all asked to leave.

Once outside, the men confronted each other. Long pulled out a pocket knife and threatened to stab him. The bouncer restrained Long, but he still tried to stab the bouncer in the neck. Another bouncer came outside and was able to stop Long.

Both Long and his friend were arrested. Besides Long facing the assault charges, both men face charges of disturbing the peace by public intoxication and terroristic threats.
