GEO investigating after inmate found stabbed

LAWTON, Okla._A GEO inmate was taken to the hospital Thursday morning after being stabbed multiple times in his head and torso.

Officials with GEO say they found Jacinto Perez with multiple stab wounds during a morning count around 6:00 a.m. Thursday. Perez was taken to a local hospital for his injuries. The wounds are said to be non-life threatening and most of the stabs were shallow.

Perez told officers he wasn’t sure who stabbed him. GEO will continue to investigate the incident.
