Prayer vigil held for critically injured teen

COMANCHE, Okla._A community came together in a prayer vigil Wednesday, held for a local teen critically injured in a car crash last week.

Hundreds of residents, former classmates, and friends gathered in the Comanche High School football field where they prayed for Caleb Gordon, a Comanche graduate, and released balloons in his favorite color, blue.

"On the balloons we tied a little piece of paper that said pray for Caleb so that where ever they pop and land those people will see it and they will pray for him,” Caleb’s girlfriend Savannah Moore said.

Though Caleb remains in a medically induced coma with a brain bleed, his supporters wrote messages to him Wednesday night in hopes he'll be able to read them once he wakes up.

Caleb was critically injured in an accident after investigators say he was driving too fast down a road in Stephens County causing him to lose control of his pickup, rolling it into a tree.
