Walk to End Alzheimer's raises $20,000

LAWTON, Okla._Participants in last weekend's Walk to End Alzheimer's have something to celebrate.

More than 250 people attended the walk at Elmer Thomas Park Saturday, November 7, where they raiser more than $20,000. In addition to walking, they learned more about the disease and the fight against it, as well as how to become involved in advocacy efforts right here at home.

Organizers say the money raised will help fund Alzheimer's care and support, along with research programs.
