Police search for driver following 2-car collision

LAWTON, Okla._A two-vehicle collision shut down a portion of Southwest Lee Boulevard Tuesday morning whiles crews worked to clean up debris.

A black Infiniti was speeding westbound on Southwest Lee Boulevard near 52nd Street at 9:42 a.m. when the driver lost control, crossed the median and hit a light pole. After crossing the median, the car hit a white Infiniti. Once the black Infiniti came to a stop, the driver and two passengers jumped out and ran. The driver of the white Infiniti was taken to Southwestern Medical Center for her injuries.

Eastbound and westbound lanes of Southwest Lee Boulevard near Southwestern Medical Center were closed for nearly three hours.

Police are searching for the driver and passengers of the black Infiniti.

    Lawton Police officers responded to a 3-vehicle accident involving a maroon Ford F250, a blue GMC Sierra, and a black Chrysler 300 at SE 45th and Lee Blvd around 9:15 a.m. According to police, the GMC Sierra rear-ended the Ford F250 as it yielded for an oncoming ambulance. The black Chrysler hit the GMC Sierra as it lost control after hitting the Ford F250. The driver of the GMC was transported to the hospital after becoming trapped inside his vehicle.
