Veterans get into first round of high school football playoffs for free

LAWTON, Okla._Veterans and a guest will be able to attend the first round of high school football playoffs this Friday and Saturday absolutely free.

In an effort to reinforce the significance of Veterans Day, the Oklahoma Secondary School Activities Association Board of Directors have decided to allow veterans and one guest to attend the first round of playoff’s free of charge. OSSAA says they are doing this to recognize those who have served our country and to emphasize the importance of their sacrifices.

Veterans will have to show their driver’s license, if it bears a seal indicating veteran status, or their ID card or any other proof of identification signifying they are a veteran.

The first round of football playoffs include the following match ups:
