Comanche County Courthouse Chili Cook-off raises money for United Way

LAWTON, Okla._If you're looking for a good cause to support, employees at the Comanche County Courthouse have you covered.

Thursday, November 12, they'll put their best recipes to the test in their annual Chili Cook-off. It's only $5 for a one-time pass and $10 for all-you-can-eat, which includes chili, dessert and a drink. They're also giving away door prizes every 15 minutes.

"The United Way does so many things. All of their partner agencies serve many members of Comanche County and give back and give people a hand up that they need."

The cook-off runs from 11:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. in the jury selection room.

7News anchor David Bradley and meteorologist Katie Western will be guest judges. In addition to bragging rights, the winner will be take home a gift card and trophy.

All of the money raised will benefit the United Way.
