Suspected DUI driver involved in accident overnight

LAWTON, Okla._One person was arrested on suspicion of DUI after he crashed into a tree, and two cars before finally stopping in a restaurant parking lot early Sunday morning.
Lawton police say the driver was leaving a restaurant at 2506 NW Cache, just before 12:30 am, when he made a u-turn too fast on Cache. The driver continued down a median before slamming into a tree and an eastbound car. Instead of stopping, police said the driver, in his attempt to leave the accident, hopped a curb before crashing a third time into a parked car.

Witnesses said the driver had been drinking and was "cut off" by restaurant workers from further alcohol purchases after becoming disorderly. No injuries were reported.
