Account established to help family of severely burned boy

LAWTON, Okla._An account has been set up for anyone wanting to help out the family of a boy who was badly burned.

Collen Elkins, 11, suffered burns to 60 percent of his body in a bonfire accident last week. He was hurt when a gas can filled with fuel exploded after being placed too close to the fire. Collen is still being treated at a burn unit in Oklahoma City. He will undergo his third skin grafting surgery on Friday.

If you'd like to help the family with the medical costs, some of their friends at the Comanche County Sheriff's Department have set up an account in his name at Liberty National Bank.
