Three arrested for shooting that put school on lockdown

FREDERICK, Okla._Three men are behind bars Wednesday night for a shooting that put Frederick High School on lockdown briefly Tuesday.

Police arrested Francisco Cantu, Jr. and Jamyz Lattrell after a fight broke at a home on east Gladstone, about five blocks from the school. A woman who lives at the house told police that the men had beaten her boyfriend, and as he tried to drive away, Lattrell gave Cantu a pistol, and he fired shots at the man's car.  Those two then drove off before police arrived.

A deputy who was alerted to the shooting and a description of the getaway car spotted it on a county road. He tracked them until they got stuck in the mud, and arrested the two men, as well as the driver. The deputy also recovered a pistol.

Both Cantu and Lattrell face charges of shooting with intent to kill.
