6 women arrested in prostitution sting

LAWTON, Okla._Detectives with the Lawton Police Department’s Special Operations Unit arrested six women for prostitution Wednesday afternoon.

Detectives arrested 30-year-old Felicia Renee Lewis, 29-year-old Sarah Lynn Holland, 44-year-old Prudence Christeen Mullins, 21-year-old Lacy Banicki, 40-year-old Charmagne Ahnawake Lewis and 31-year-old Silver Diane Vance.

Police say detectives made contact with the women through a public Internet site known to be used for the solicitation of sex.  After contacting each one, they arrived at a predetermined location and verbally agreed to engage in sex with the undercover agent in exchange for money. All six of the women were arrested on a complaint of prostitution and booked into the Lawton City Jail.

Charmagne Lewis had a warrant out of Stephens County for an application to revoke. Her original offense was drug possession with the intent to distribute and possession of a firearm during a felony. Silver Vance had a warrant for failure to appear out of Lawton.

The Special Operations Unit investigates all vice and narcotics crimes. They say they will continue to investigate crimes of this nature, and the women were all arrested as a part of their investigation.
