Lawton man pleads not guilty to possession of child pornography

LAWTON, Okla._A man who police say had more than 100 videos of child pornography in his home has pleaded not guilty.

Wendell Robinson, 55, is charged on one count of child pornography, to which he pleaded not guilty.

Robinson was arrested in April following a joint investigation between the Lawton Police Department and the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation. Authorities found four computers they believe Robinson used to download dozens of videos. During his first interview with police, admitted to downloading child pornography on the “only working computer in his bedroom.”

Robinson is currently being held at the Comanche County Detention Center. His bond is set at 200-thousand-dollars.

His next court appearance is scheduled for May 2016.
