Kiwanis selling Christmas trees for scholarships, charities

DUNCAN, Okla._If you are in search of the perfect Christmas tree, the Duncan Chisholm Trail Kiwanis may have the right one for you.

The organization's annual Christmas tree sale started Tuesday afternoon in Kiddieland Park near North 15th Street and Ash Avenue. They are open Monday through Friday from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. and Sunday from 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m.

There are 350 trees of multiple varieties for sale this year and they are priced between $10 and $100. All the proceeds go to scholarships and local charities.

The lot will be closed on Thanksgiving, but will reopen the next day. The sale ends on December 18.
