LAWTON, Okla._Police are working to track down a gunman, responsible for shooting and injuring a woman in northwest Lawton.

Police say just seconds after a woman was reported shot near Northwest 15th Street and Bessie Avenue, a second call came in reporting a car drove into a light pole, where the victim was found inside. It appeared the driver had been shot once and was taken to the hospital with what were believed to be non-life threatening injuries.

Police are now searching for the gunman described as a black man with a ponytail. He was last seen running near Northwest 20th Street and Williams Avenue.
