LAWTON, Okla_ Cameron University received their largest single donation for their fundraising campaign Rise to the Challenge.

In a check presentation Wednesday the Terry Bell Charitable Trust handed over a check totaling $20,000 to Cameron University. The campaign has only been underway for two weeks and has already reached their goal of 300 donation gifts in 30 days, which then secured another $30,000 pledge from an anonymous donor who promised the gift if the goal was met.

Vice President for University Advancement Albert Johnson, Junior said gifts to the Cameron University Foundation are more vital than ever as the university faces potential budget and potential reduced state funding. The fundraising campaign continues through December 14.
