OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla._The defense has rested and closing arguments have been scheduled in the trial of a former Oklahoma City police officer accused of sexually assaulting 13 women.
Thursday, detectives said DNA found on Daniel Holtzclaw's pants matched that of a girl who was 17 years old when she says she was attacked. Holtzclaw's defense argued that the skin cells could have come from when Holtzclaw checked the woman's purse, then later touched his pants.
The defense only called one witness before resting, Holtzclaw's former girlfriend. The former officer broke down in tears as she recalled intimate moments of their relationship.
