LAWTON, Okla._The woman arrested in connection to two robberies at Stripes convenience stores last month and a 16-year-old have been charged with three felonies each.
Leah Keane was charged with first-degree robbery with a weapon, conspiracy to commit robbery, knowingly concealing and withholding property and a misdemeanor drug possession charge. The teen was charged was robbery with a weapon, conspiracy to commit a robbery and possession of a firearm after previous adjudication.
Keane was arrested during a traffic stop and admitted to being the getaway driver in the robberies on Northwest Cache Road and 40th Street and another at Southwest Sheridan Road and 'E' Avenue. Police say they found items taken from victims of the robberies in her car along with a marijuana pipe.
The teen told police that he robbed a Stripes convenience store at Northwest 40th Street and Cache Road on November 25. He says he pointed a gun at the clerk and demanded money. He says the clerk then locked herself in a back room, so he took two cell phones and left.
