OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla._The Oklahoma Medical Examiner's Office has released the autopsy for a man found dead on a ranch near Ryan, Oklahoma.
The body of 27-year-old Fernando Hernandez Cruz was found by his employer several hundred yards from a home on a ranch near Ryan on August 28. The Jefferson County Sheriff's Office requested assistance from the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation after their missing person's case turned into a homicide investigation.
The medical examiner's report states Cruz suffered from 19 sharp-force injuries, which includes 11 stab wounds and 8 incised wounds. Those 11 stab wounds include a deep stab to the back and several stab wounds to the neck, hand, chest and arms. Cruz also suffered from blunt force trauma to the head.
The report goes on to say that Cruz displayed advanced changes through postmortem decomposition.
