Fort Sill honors 'Instructor of the Year'

FORT SILL, Okla._A Fort Sill staff sergeant was named the post's "Instructor of the Year.”

Staff Sergeant Daniel Smith of the 14 Echo Air Defense Artillery was given the award Thursday. Smith was honored for his tireless effort in training the post's service members.

Smith attributes his success to his passion, saying that it captured his soldiers' attention and inspired them to learn the system.
