Wichita Falls man arrested for indecency with a child

WICHITA FALLS, Texas_Wichita Falls police arrested a man Wednesday night for indecency with a child by contact.

Police were called to the 4800 block of Brookdale just after 8:00 p.m. Wednesday on a possible sexual assault involving a child. Police spoke to the child’s step-father who explained that his family lived in the same apartment complex as 24-year-old Patrick Walker Farris.

The step-father told police the child went to Farris’s apartment to pick up a pencil bag and went to check on the child when the child didn’t return. The step-father found the child unclothed and sitting on Farris’s lap. He grabbed the child and left the apartment to call police.

Officers found Farris nearby and arrested him.
