Threat charged with manslaughter in soldier's death

LAWTON, Okla._A Fort Sill soldier was charged with first-degree manslaughter Thursday for the accidental shooting death of a fellow soldier.

Stephon Threat was also charged with carrying a firearm while intoxicated. Police say Threat was playing with a shotgun around 3:00 a.m. Saturday while under the influence of alcohol when it discharged, shooting 20-year-old Trevor Hargrave in an apartment at Northwest 52nd Street and Rogers Lane.

When police arrived, they found Threat driving away with the victim inside the car on their way to the hospital.

Hargrave was pronounced dead at the hospital.

Threat's bond was set at $100,000.
