Father admits to leaving daughter in car while gambling

LAWTON, Okla. (KSWO) -A Wichita Falls father was arrested at a Lawton casino after he left his 3-year-old daughter in car while he gambled.

A parking lot attendant at a Lawton casino noticed a young child sitting alone in a running car with a window down. The parking lot attendant told security, who in turn called Lawton police. The father, Jesus Bonite, taken outside and, according to the report, asked if his car was ok when he saw the officer.

Bonite admitted to the officer that he left his 3-year-old daughter alone for approximately 50 minutes Thursday afternoon while he went inside to gamble.

Bonite was arrested for child neglect and the child’s mother was called to pick her up.
