Hundreds rolled out to the Medicine Park Christmas Carnival

MEDICINE PARK, Okla. (KSWO) - Hundreds came out to Medicine Park Saturday for their Christmas parade and carnival. The all-day event had live music and entertainment, games and activities for the kids, and also a chance to meet Santa. This is the 5th year for the carnival. It was added to the parade as a way to get people out to enjoy the holidays. Kids road mini tractors and marry go rounds, and played a round of mini golf.

Event organizers say they love to see families come out to enjoy Medicine Park for the holidays.

"One of the things that really makes it worthwhile is when a parent comes to you and says know my kid will never forget this day,” said Patrick Shaughnessy. “And maybe they are just here in Lawton one year, and they came out here and had a fabulous event."

And for adults many went around to the different shops and restaurants after enjoying the parade and live music.
