ATOKA COUNTY, OK (KSWO) – Three people were arrested in connection to a woman's death in Atoka, Oklahoma.
Kathern Yovonne Moore was found dead inside her home Thursday, Dec. 17. The 47-year-old woman was shot to death. The Atoka County Sheriff's Office requested help from the OSBI and three people were arrested over the weekend.
Kathern's husband, 44-year-old James Clifton Moore, was arrested after a traffic stop and booked into the Atoka County Jail for first-degree murder.
Cody Maxey, 28, was arrested at the Atoka County Sheriff's Office and booked into the Coal County Jail for accessory to murder.
Maxey's brother, 25-year-old Christopher Maxey, was arrested in Farris, Oklahoma, by Atoka County deputies and U.S. Marshals for accessory to murder. He is being housed at the Bryan County Jail.
