Suspect arrested after Crockett convenience store robbery

CROCKETT, TX (KTRE) -

Police in Crockett are investigating an armed robbery at Mike's Corner Store.

Police say a man entered the store near East Goliad and Loop 304 shortly after 9 p.m. on Monday. The suspect pointed a gun at the clerk and demanded money from the register. According to authorities, the suspect, 19-year-old Marcus Williams II fled in a stolen Chevy Suburban. 

Williams led police on a chase through Trinity County and was arrested after he crashed the vehicle.
