LAWTON, OK (KSWO) -Employees at Lawton long-term care facility who didn't get their mid-month paychecks from the center's previous owners got a little help from a secret Santa.
The secret Santa group saw the story and came to the rescue of those families who didn't know how they could buy toys for their kids for Christmas. The secret donor dropped off a truck load of toys at KSWO, and they were delivered by to Willow Park Health Care Center.
"It takes a tremendous amount of pressure off. The dream is going to live on now. Santa Claus is coming by, so you don't even have to contemplate telling your kids something else. They have no idea how much they have blessed not only my family but the many families there at willow park," said a grateful employee.
A company spokesman said those bonus checks they're giving employees to soften the blow of missing that Dec. 16 payday will get their bonuses on Christmas Eve.
