GRANT COUNTY, KS (KSWO) –The man accused of sexually assaulting a Duncan woman before stealing her car and another in Carnegie has waived his extradition.

Matthew Arrington, 28, waived his extradition from Grant County, Kansas, on Monday. Arrington is expected to be brought back to Duncan by the Stephens County Sheriff's Office sometime in the next three weeks.

Deputies in Kansas say Arrington was found in someone's driveway sleeping in a car he stole from Carnegie, Oklahoma. The person who lived at that home called Kansas authorities. When deputies questioned Arrington, they say he gave them three fake names and birthdays.

The Grant County district attorney declined to prosecute Arrington on an obstruction of justice charge for giving deputies that false information.
