ALTUS, OK (KSWO) -A domestic dispute led to a shooting Wednesday night between two men in Altus.

Police responded to the shooting just before 11 p.m. Wednesday at a home on the 1700 of North Willard. Police say a man showed up at the house, which belonged to his soon-to-be ex-wife, after discovering another man was there. The two men exchanged gunfire until the soon-to-be ex-husband left.

The Altus Police Department says they later found him at his own house with a gunshot wound to the leg. The man was treated for his injury and released from the hospital.

Both of the men involved were interviewed by police and released.

A small child was at the home at the time, but was not injured.

The Jackson County district attorney is reviewing the case before filing any charges.
