LAWTON, OK (KSWO) –The names of the suspects involved involved in a robbery at a Lawton motel, and the man who tried to shoot them, have been released.

Police say Jorey and Nickolas Knight attacked a man and a woman staying at the Relax Inn on Northwest Cache Road around 1:00 p.m. Tuesday. According to Austin Wilson, Jorey and Nickolas Knight started beating him and then attacked a woman when she tried to help.

Wilson told officers the two then went into their hotel room, stole a number of items and around $600 in cash. Wilson admitted that he shot at the two as they were driving away, but because the serial number on his gun was illegally scrapped off and police arrested him, too.

Police later caught up with Jorey and Nickolas Knight and pulled them over for an expired license plate and broken tail light. The officers could smell marijuana in the vehicle and asked if there were any drugs or weapons in the vehicle.

Nickolas Knight was taken out of the vehicle and handcuffed. Police found a semi-automatic pistol under his seat and drugs when he kicked off his shoe and tried to kick a plastic container under the officer’s patrol car. The officer saw him try to hide the container and Nickolas blurted out, "You can test me, I don't do no ice." Police found a total of 9.6 grams of marijuana on Nickolas Knight, and they found yellow pills and a small amount of meth in the plastic container.

Jorey Knight was caught with 17 Xanex pills, a handcuff key and 5.1 grams of marijuana. Jorey Knight also had $500 in cash in his back pocket.

Nickolas Knight was booked into the Lawton City Jail on the complaints of possession of a firearm after felony conviction, defective motor vehicle, invalid vehicle registration and possession of marijuana. Jorey Knight was booked for possession of marijuana.

Police say Nickolas and Jorey Knight claimed they were stealing what Wilson originally stole from him.

Beyond their war of words, the row touched on several sensitive issues in Trump's White House, including a lack of racial diversity, security in the executive mansion and a culture that some there feel borders on paranoia.
