EDMOND, OK (KSWO) - A strong earthquake rattled central Oklahoma on New Year's Day morning.
Once again it happened in Edmond. The 4.4 magnitude quake was centered about five miles northeast of the city just after 5:30 Friday morning. That area saw damage from a 4.3 magnitude quake earlier this week. After today's, the City of Edmond reported more than 4,000 customers lost their power, but reports say it has been restored. So far we're not hearing reports on damage.
