DUNCAN, OK (KSWO) -The man accused of sexually assaulting a woman and stealing her car has been extradited to Stephens County from Kansas.
Authorities say 28-year-old Matthew Arrington knocked on a woman's door on Dec. 11 and forced his way inside after asking to use her phone. The woman told police Arrington sexually assaulted her in front of her child and then took her keys and tried to make them drive away with him. The woman was able to get away and flag down a passerby for help.
Police say Arrington then drove to Carnegie, Oklahoma, where he ditched the woman's car and stole another one. He was arrested during a traffic stop in Kansas.
Arrington was later arrested in Kansas after police pulled him over in another stolen car.
He is charged with first-degree rape and other felonies. His bond was set at $1 million.
Court records show Arrington was on probation for a burglary conviction in 2014. His bond was set at $1 million.
