CADDO COUNTY, OK (KSWO) -A man is dead after the truck he was riding in blew a tire and rolled.

The wreck happened around 7:46 a.m. Friday on I-44, about 14 miles south of Chickasha. Oklahoma Highway Patrol says the truck was northbound when a tire blew, which caused the driver to lose control. After hitting the guardrail, the truck rolled an unknown amount of times down an embankment before hitting a fence.

A passenger was thrown from the vehicle when the truck rolled. OHP says he was not wearing a seatbelt at the time. He was 22 years old.

The driver, a 25-year-old man from Lawton, and a 30-year-old passenger were taken to CCMH and treated for head injuries.

One of the passengers, a 27-year-old man from Lawton, was taken to OU by helicopter and was admitted in critical condition.
