Police say missing Lawton teen has been found

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK (KSWO) –Police say Alize Becerril has been found and is safe.

The Facebook page dedicated to facilitating all of the information on Alize’s disappearance posted the following from the police department heading up the investigation.

“We would like to relay some good news. Alize has been found safe and is at our Police Department awaiting to be reunited with Mom. Thank you all very much for your efforts and the great care you took to help our police department.”

Alize Becerril went missing after she walked away from the OU Health Science Center in Oklahoma City Friday afternoon at 3:35 p.m. Becerril was there for an appointment with her family.

    An elementary school teacher in Tulsa says her salary has left her so short on cash that she had to panhandle for classroom supplies. Teresa Danks has been an educator since 1996. She says that while it's never been a financially rewarding profession, lately is been getting even harder to get by. She makes around $35,000 a year, with about $3,000 being spent out of pocket for school supplies.
