ORLANDO, FL (KSWO) - The Cameron University Spirit Team finished third in their division Saturday at the College Cheerleading and Dance Team National Championship in Orlando. They competed in the UCA Small Coed Division II and came away with a score of 73.45.

We told you earlier this week about the team's sendoff in front of fans at the Cameron gym. Some of the cheerleaders say they got to where they are today because of hard work, and their Coach Ryan Flood. The 20-person squad has been working since the summer for this opportunity, and they haven't competed for this national title in 15 years.

A truck driver is dead after a crash caused by extreme winds on an Oklahoma interstate. Oklahoma Highway Patrol says the driver was heading east on I-40 near El Reno when winds pushed the truck into the cable barrier and caused it to roll. Troopers say the driver, who has not been identified, was partially ejected through the driver side window and was pinned for about an hour. The medical examiner says the person died at the scene.
