2 people from Cache killed in turnpike car crash

NEWCASTLE, OK (KSWO) - Oklahoma Highway Patrol says two Cache residents are dead after a crash on the H.E. Bailey Turnpike. 

According to the OHP report, 39-year-old Kenda Dixon of Cache was westbound on I-44 when she tried to make a u-turn through the concrete barrier near Newcastle.  Her car was hit by an eastbound pickup and she died at the scene. 21-year-old Justin Duncan, also of Cache, was riding in the car with her. He died on the way to the hospital. The pickup driver was not hurt.
