ANADARKO, OK (KSWO) –Charges were filed Monday in Anadarko's Christmas Eve homicide.
The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation says 59-year-old Lawrence Thomas Hinton was charged with first-degree murder in the Christmas Eve death of 39-year-old Eddy Mahseet. Mahseet's body was found inside the home they shared at 510 E. Georgia in Anadarko. Hinton was found with "sharp force trauma" to his throat and was taken to the hospital that day.
Following Mahseet's autopsy, it was revealed that her cause of death was having her throat cut. Her back was also broken near the time of her death.
Evidence found in the home and information from neighbors and family gave investigators enough information to charge Hinton with Mahseet's death.
Hinton was booked into the Caddo County Jail on Monday.
