CACHE, OK (KSWO) -The water was calm and peaceful until it hit and there was no time to react.
Cache Fire Chief Dale Winham says they told us we had an hour, they said we had an hour, and it hit within minutes.
In May 2015, flood waters hit Cache, Oklahoma, destroying homes and lives. Almost nine months later, the recovery for many residents is still ongoing. Some even after 30 years of living there say, "they've had enough."
