Fists of Fury 6 takes the octagon Saturday

LAWTON, OK (KSWO) –Mixed martial arts is coming back to Lawton with Fists of Fury 6.

Back by popular demand, cage fighting returns to Lawton, Oklahoma, on Saturday, Jan. 30. The event will be held at the Great Plains Coliseum. There are 13 action-packed fights scheduled inside the steel cage. There will be pros, amateurs and women. The doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the fighting starts at 7:30 p.m.

Featured pro fights include:

Undefeated John Lair from Weatherford taking on undefeated Joseph Larock from Oklahoma City, and Hunter Tucker from Dallas, Texas, taking on Tolu Agunbiade from Wichita Falls, Texas.

Tucker trains at Team Takedown. The gym has trained three UFC world champions. In fact, one of their fighters just fought on the Rhonda Rousey card.

There will also be a women’s title belt fight and another pro fight.

Included in the amateur fights will be fighters from Lawton, Chickasha, Altus, Wichita Falls, Norman, OKC, Hobart, Medicine Park and more.

Tickets are on sale: general admission is $25, and ringside is $40.

Box office will be open all day Saturday, from 10 a.m. through the show.

This event will be raising money for the military affairs program, honoring America’s warriors.
