LAWTON, OK (KSWO) -Lawton police say they've made two arrests in the burglary of a local restaurant that is currently under construction.

Authorities arrested 47-year-old John Wayne Mills of Cache and 45-year-old William Bowker of Lawton Friday afternoon thanks to a citizen's tip. The owner of the BP Saltwater Grill, formally Twisted Taco, told police the break-in happened sometime between 1:30 a.m. and 4:30 a.m. Thursday.

Two men broke in by cutting a two-by-five-foot hole in the west side of the building. They also broke through a wall in the men's bathroom to the liquor stock. The pair also stole beer taps, eight televisions and other electronic equipment.

The restaurant's surveillance cameras captured an image of the burglars, and the owner posted them on Facebook. Police say a tip led them to the men, and after interviewing them and other witnesses, both were arrested on burglary complaints.

Charges will be presented to the Comanche County District Attorney’s Office next week. Police say the case is still under investigation.
