Crime Stoppers asks for help solving recent robberies

LAWTON, OK (KSWO) –Lawton police are investigating a rash of robberies and they’re hoping the public can help.

Lawton Crime Stoppers is encouraging the public to step up with information that could help track the thieves down. Three businesses were robbed at gunpoint and a man tried to rob a fourth business with a box cutter, but a store employee scared him off with a gun. All four incidents occurred in a span of just 10 days.

They want to remind everyone that all tips to Crime Stoppers are anonymous. If you call with information, you're assigned a unique number and you never have to give your name or any other personal information. 

The reward for leading police to an arrest and charges being filed could be as much as $5,000. If you have any information about a crime, call 580-355-INFO (4636).
