LAWTON, OK (KSWO) –Four people were arrested after a stolen car was spotted in a motel parking lot.
Two Lawton officers were called to a motel on Northwest Cache Road Saturday evening after a stolen Chevy HHR was spotted in the parking lot. The officers knocked on the door and spoke to Vincent Seabron, who told them he was the only one in the room and police were welcome to come in and search.
Once inside, police found Kyshon Murray in the bathroom trying to flush a strip of blue rubber down the toilet and caused it to overflow. One of the four people in the room, Rosalee Gordon, had a warrant for failure to appear for possession of contraband as an inmate. The fourth person, Edward Hepler, had two warrants for his arrest, uttering a forged instrument and child support. Seabron also had a local warrant for his arrest for petit larceny.
As police placed Gordon under arrest for the warrant, they noticed a metal smoking pipe on the floor next to her. When the officer retrieved the pipe, Gordon said, "Sorry, I smoke a lot of weed." Police also found two syringes, one was loaded with 28cc of a yellow liquid, in Murray's jacket pocket. A complaint of drug possession was added to Gordon. Murray ended up being arrested for resisting an officer, possession of meth and drug paraphernalia and two warrants, failure to appear for petit larceny and an order to appear for speeding out of Grady County.
All four were taken to the city jail, but Hepler ended up being taken to the Comanche County Detention Center.
