FREDERICK, OK (KSWO) -A trial date has been set for the former Tipton teacher accused of having sexual relations with two students.

Laura Cowan is charged with three counts of second-degree rape after police say she admitted to having sex with two students in 2014. Police say Cowan told them she had sex with one student in her classroom and in her car, and in her car and at a Frederick motel with a second student.

Cowan's charges were initially dismissed when authorities could not find the students, but the charges were brought back when the students were located a month later.

Cowan's trial is set to begin March 15.

Beyond their war of words, the row touched on several sensitive issues in Trump's White House, including a lack of racial diversity, security in the executive mansion and a culture that some there feel borders on paranoia.
