2 arrested after man says he was robbed

LAWTON, OK (KSWO) -Lawton police swept the neighborhood near Liberty Lake Wednesday in search of two people involved in a robbery.

Police arrived at Northwest 17th Street and Ferris Avenue around 1:30 p.m. and met with a man who said he was assaulted and robbed. He told police a big white or Hispanic man got out of and started hitting him in the face. The suspect took the man’s phone and got back into the car and they drove off.

Shortly after, police found and arrested 24-year-old Juan Guzman and 27-year-old Jackie Knight, who were still in the area.
